Kota Peruri, with its roots deeply intertwined with Indonesia’s history, has always been a symbol of craftsmanship, dedication, and community spirit. Once the birthplace of our nation's banknotes, this iconic site is now a hub of creativity and connection, continuing to evolve while honoring its storied past. As we celebrate Peruri's anniversary this year, we are proud to launch a weekend full of heartfelt events, where heritage, sustainability, and nostalgia meet.
At the heart of the celebration is The local market.IDN bazaar, bringing together our community's artisans, creators, and entrepreneurs. More than just a marketplace, it’s a reflection of our commitment to a sustainable future. The bazaar showcases eco-friendly crafts, upcycled products, and locally sourced delicacies—each item a reminder that tradition and sustainability can walk hand in hand, building a future that cherishes our past and protects our planet.
But that’s not all. In this edition of celebration at Kota Peruri is also the stage for Festival Lintas Melawai, a musical tribute to the golden days of the 80s and 90s. As the tunes of the era drift through the air, memories of simpler times will awaken—of cassette tapes and record stores, of evenings spent under neon lights, and the timeless melodies that defined a generation. It’s a celebration of nostalgia, a chance to relive the magic of decades that brought us together through music.
As you wander through the The Local Market bazaar, the rhythm of familiar beats will carry you back to those cherished moments. The warmth of handmade goods and sustainable products mingles with the melodies of yesteryear, creating a space where the past and future blend seamlessly. From handcrafted bags made from recycled fabrics to the tunes that once filled our radios, this event is more than a festival—it’s a journey through time, an invitation to reconnect with old memories while forging new ones.
Join us at Kota Peruri, where we celebrate our heritage, honor sustainability, and indulge in the nostalgic magic of the 80s and 90s. Together, we’ll remember the songs, the stories, and the bonds that make our community stronger, while looking toward a future filled with promise and togetherness
