Warm your heart and home at The Local Market - Christmas Edition.  To us, Christmas is feeling the warmth for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future.  The Local Market, started as a small artisan market, respecting the merchants from all over Indonesia who truly are passionate about their beautiful handmade crafts. 

At present our market has grown to include more than just artisans but more importantly our market is about community that cares not only keeping our cultural heritage alive, but also social causes that are making an impact on lives.  

We share the story of each artisans through each merchants that are present at each edition of the market and we believe that paying artisans fairly is both the right thing to do and the wise thing to do. It’s right because it honors the time, skill, artistry, and expertise that goes into the making of each product and treats people with respect and dignity they deserve. It’s also wise because empowering artisans—and especially women—is a powerful way to drive economic growth and sustainable development in communities around Indonesia. 

Our hope this Christmas is to make a difference in our world by incorporating more social organizations and individuals that aim to make a concrete difference by investing in the power of education.  I believe that by focusing on our community, we’re going to make the most substantial impact.

• Electricity : Rp 250.000 / 3 days
• Stools : Rp 100.000 / 3 days
  
• Bamboo space divider : Rp 100.000 / 3 days

MERCHANT INFORMATION

General informations

Table position and or layout will be determined by the Operators:

• Space size is 150 cm x 200 cm. 
• Table size is will be about 80 cm x 120 cm.
• Vendor must be conscious of their neighbour's space to not block others.
• Vendor may bring your their own display to fit within the allocated space. Please be aware of your neighbours not to obstruct passage.
• Custom backdrop with measurement must be informed and submitted on the web.
• Products for sale must synchronize with the submitted description.
• Registration fees do not include electricity.
• Owner of the Brand is to be present for 3 days of the market and can be assisted by 1 assistant.
• No stool is provided but you may bring your own stool to fit within your space.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

• Food and beverage booth space is 150 cm x 200 cm.
• The food and beverage vendor may request a table if needed.
• Registration fees do not include electricity.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Please register online at thelocalmarket.id/register. We will email you once your application is approved. If you do not have access to the website, you may contact us at 081295077024 & 081280061893 or thelocalmarketid@gmail.com for us to send you a copy of the registration form.

ABSENTEE / LATE ARRIVAL / EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY

Vendors are required to participate in the market for the full 3 days. Vendors that arrive late or leaves early will not be invited to participate in the future events. This is a very firm policy. Please have your stall set up an hour before the start of the market.

PAYMENT

Payment for tables will be through our online payment system using bank transfer. Advise us if you need to make any cash payment. We do offer cashless check out system for your customers on the days of the market. Customers will be able to pay using their credit cards, bank transfer or pay using cash. Please advise us on the form provided after approval if you require this service.

Sales tax is the stall holders own responsibility.  We do not collect sales tax for you.

TRANSACTIONS

For easy payment system, all tenants must register for Ku Ka Payment. Transactions are carried out in the provided cashier areas. Fee for all transactions is 3.5%.

ADVERTISING

After approval, you have to send us  photographs of your products (we will only accept high resolutions file) for us to include in our advertising. We will also do a custom poster for you to post on your own social media accounts. Please be advise multiple revisions are not accepted.
