A moment’s reflection amid a chaotic journey, a patiently-waited the right moment -for a shot that becomes magical or something grabbed off-the-cuff and on the go. Show us “Tangan Bercerita”, revealing much more than just a hand's portraits, but instead the meaning and a story behind the captured photo showing hands. The Local Market and Kantorkuu will review all submission through social media with a panel of distinguished judges to pick the 20 semi finals, where photojournalistic style and all are worth the exposure and tastly the public’s votes for a winner and a runner up . Encourage and challenges your family and friends to show us their stories capturing the “hands”.  

Submission will be through instagram, where you will post your photograph with a caption to describe the image using hashtags #tanganbercerita and tag us @thelocalmarket.id and @kantorkuu

The finalist images will be display at Kantorkuu Sudirman where the public will get to vote for their favorite photography with an engaging caption.

Please read this before you post your image:

• After posting on your social media, you will be contacted after the deadline if you have made it to the finals.  If you have made it the finals, you must upload the highest possible resolution of your shot via google drive.
• We’ll only consider one original photograph from each person which is the first post using the correct hastags and tags on the personal social media account of that person.
• We can’t consider photos that have been published elsewhere (either online or in print), apart from those on your personal social media pages and non-commercial personal websites.
• You’ll also need to provide a caption of up to 50 words on where it was taken, what’s happening in the shot or what inspired you to take it. Use the hastag #tanganbercerita and tag us on @thelocalmarket.id and @kantorkuu.
